OkMap Desktop is an interactive mapping application for working with web maps, digital maps, scanned maps, vector data, and elevation information on a computer. It provides tools for organizing geographic data and preparing waypoints, routes, and tracks that can be transferred to compatible GPS devices.
The software supports both raster and vector mapping workflows and can display multiple maps simultaneously. It also provides access to cartographic projections and datum databases, allowing geographic data to be handled according to different mapping requirements.
OkMap Desktop can manage GPX data, display supported raster maps in 3D through Google Earth, and automatically calculate altitude information and estimated travel times. Its interface includes configurable toolbars, map navigation controls, contextual menus, and automatic information functions.

For GPS workflows, OkMap Desktop supports GPX waypoints, tracks, and routes. Users can create and organize these objects on a map and transfer the resulting geographic data to a GPS device. Elevation information and estimated travel times can also be assigned automatically.
