This course answers the question- Why am I here? It explores the purpose of our existence in this world, providing answers from the Quran (the Holy Book of the Muslims) and the Sunnah (the sayings and practices of the last prophet, Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him). It offers a brief introduction to aqeedah (Islamic belief system). Participants enrolling in this course will be assisted with memorizing the answers to basic Islamic questions, such as Why did Allah create us? and How do we worship Allah? The answers are supported by evidence from the Quran (the Holy Book of the Muslims) and Sunnah (the sayings and practices of the last prophet, Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him) in both Arabic and accompanied by the English translation. Vocabulary words from these sources will be provided so that the student can understand what he/she is memorizing.Who is this course for?This course is for:· The Muslim youth who is attracted to this world and trying to find his way· The new Muslim who wants to learn some of the basic beliefs of the religion· The Muslim returning to the practice of his/her religion· The person who wants to benefit from beneficial reminders· The person who wants to memorize select ayahs (verses from the Holy Quran, the last revelation and the ahadith (the sayings and practices of the last prophet, Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him)
