In this 3ds Max course we will study UVW mapping techniques, In particular we will study architecture mapping and all the functions of the modifiers.
Topics:Analysis of the relationship between the 3d space of the objects and the 2d space of the Unwrap_UVW coordinates, the parametric coordinates of the 3d objects, the modifiers, the compound objects, AEC. All the functions of the UVW Map modifier: planar coordinates, Cylindrical, Spherical, Shrink Wra, Box, Face, XYZ XYZ, Map Channel, use real world scale, all the functions of acquisition scale rotation alignment in comparison with the texture space. All functions of the UVW Xform modifier. Examples of architectural, organic and design mapping through uvw map, advanced materials and 3d materials and sub object selections. Materials settings and options: tile, mirror, offset, planar from object xyz, Explicit map Channel.
Attached to the lessons are available the exercise files 3ds max 2014 compatible up to 3ds max 2017 and the exercise files for 3ds max 2018, 2019 compatible with the higher relase.

Both Mental Ray and Arnold files are available to render.
