What is Drop shipping? Drop shipping is a type of retail operation in which a seller accepts client orders but does not have levels of inventory. Alternatively, it transfers the orders and their shipment data to the manufacturer, a wholesaler, another retailer, or a fulfilment house, which then ships the goods directly to the client as part of the business strategy.
