Audiority Chief Chorus is a BBD-based chorus effect designed as a faithful simulation of the Boss® CE-2™, a compact chorus pedal introduced in the late 1970s. Its design is based around the MN3007 BBD chip and recreates the characteristic modulation behavior associated with the original hardware.
The original CE-2™ became known for its distinctive chorus sound and compact design during its production period. Chief Chorus retains the core character of that design while extending the concept with additional controls for rate, depth, synchronization, stereo operation, and signal blending.
The plugin is intended for musicians, producers, and audio engineers who need analog-style chorus processing with additional control over modulation and stereo characteristics. Its adjustable interface also allows the effect to be configured for vibrato-style operation.​

Software OverviewAudiority Chief Chorus is an analog chorus simulation based on the BBD architecture of the Boss® CE-2™. The emulation uses reduced bandwidth as part of its approach to reproducing the character of the original effect.
In addition to the core Rate and Depth controls, the plugin provides trimmers for setting maximum modulation ranges. Tempo synchronization, stereo spread, chorus blending, and balance controls extend the available processing options beyond the basic pedal configuration.
The interface includes level meters, input and output gain controls, a Mix control, and a resizable layout for adapting the plugin to different working environments.
