Synth Palace MOD-FX is a modular audio effects plugin designed for music producers, sound designers, and electronic musicians who want to create complex effect chains and explore new sonic possibilities. It combines a collection of audio effects, modulation sources, step sequencers, and factory presets in a flexible rack-based environment. Users can build effect chains manually for precise sound shaping or use the randomization tools to discover unexpected textures and creative processing combinations.

Software Overview
MOD-FX provides a modular signal path across two rack pages, allowing users to experiment with effect placement and modulation while shaping their sound. Its collection of presets offers starting points for different sound-design approaches, while the built-in modulators and step sequencers provide additional control over evolving effects. The plugin is designed to work with compatible digital audio workstations on Windows and macOS using supported plugin formats.
Key Features
  • Modular Effect Routing: Build and customize effect chains across two rack pages.
  • Factory Presets: Explore a collection of presets covering a variety of sound-design categories.
  • 14 Audio Effects: Combine multiple processing tools to create distinctive sounds and textures.
  • Five Modulator Types: Add movement and variation to effect parameters.
  • Two 8-Step Sequencers: Create rhythmic and evolving modulation patterns.
  • Randomization Tools: Generate new effect configurations and experiment with different combinations.
  • Visual Interface: Navigate the two rack pages through the plugin's redesigned interface.

  • Update Notifications: An in-plugin notification indicates when an update is available.
  • DAW Integration: Supports VST3 and AU plugin formats on compatible Windows and macOS systems.
Why Choose Synth Palace MOD-FX
MOD-FX is suited to producers who want more control over creative audio processing than a conventional fixed effect plugin may offer. Its modular routing, modulation options, sequencers, and randomization features support both deliberate sound design and spontaneous experimentation. It can be useful for developing evolving textures, unusual transitions, atmospheric layers, and distinctive effects for electronic music and other production styles.
What's New in Version 2.0.2

  • Image files have been renamed with the .webp extension, replacing the previous .png extension.
  • The supplied release is listed at approximately 5 GB.
System Requirements
  • Operating System: Windows or macOS.
  • Plugin Formats: VST3 and AU.
  • Host Software: A compatible digital audio workstation (DAW).
  • Processor, Memory, and Storage: Check the official website for detailed requirements for your operating system and DAW.
