AquaChem is a groundwater and water quality analysis application designed for hydrogeologic, geochemical, and environmental projects that require the management, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of water quality data. It provides tools for working with sample databases and performing calculations commonly used in hydrogeochemical studies.
The software supports unit transformations, charge balances, statistical analysis, and geochemical modeling with PHREEQC. Its visualization and reporting capabilities provide multiple ways to represent chemical characteristics and compare water quality data.
AquaChem also includes an R-script console for data science workflows, along with tools for filtering sample sets, analyzing time series, creating diagrams, and exporting analytical results and metadata.​

The integrated R-script console provides access to data science tools that can be used for additional analysis of water quality datasets.
What's New
Trend Analysis Module
A new Trend Analysis module provides statistical analysis of time series data using linear regression, Sen's slope estimator, Spearman rank correlation, Mann-Kendall, and Seasonal Mann-Kendall tests. Trend results can be exported as spreadsheets or automatically plotted on time series graphs.
Improved Sample Set Editor
The Sample Set Editor now provides OR statements, grouped conditions, qualifier-based filtering, and additional parameter conditions including Does not equal, Has value, and Has no value.
Description Improvements
Scatter and Time Series Descriptions can automatically calculate and plot linear regression lines. Symbol groups can be changed directly from Description settings, lines can use custom labels or regression-line data, and legend locations can be configured. Box-and-Whisker diagrams can also display sample and non-detect counts for each data series.
Usability Improvements
Water quality standards can be exported, while modeled and calculated parameters and sample analysis metadata can be exported from the Sample Report module. The Sample Analysis Viewer is sortable, newly created parameters can be updated by default through the Parameter Calculator, and DateTime values can be entered more easily in tables and the Sample Set Editor.
